SwaN-MR [1, 2] was written in 1991-2001 to run on Macintosh computers. It requires OS 7 through 9 and was compatible with OS X as long as the latter included the Classic compatibility environment. The program, written in Florence by Giuseppe Balacco, is able to process and visualize mono- and multi-dimensional NMR spectra and to simulate 1D spectra.

Today, to read the old SwaN-MR files on new computers, you can use iNMR (or iNMR reader), written by the same author. Mnova is also able to rescue part of the information.
