Document pulse sequences written in your lab (1)

This is the idea: on the server there will be a directory/directory tree for pulse sequences written your lab. (And analogous directories for others). We'll create a special pulse sequence record template just for your lab that will make it much easier for you to create records.

So if you want to document your files - upload single tar with all of them in the directory structure that you use in your system. It will be unpacked (by site manager's) in that special directory, preserving the original directory structure. 
Then in order to create a pulse sequence record - you will just provide name of the main file for a given pulse sequence or macro in your special template.

Link to file will be automatically created by the custom template, if your file has dependencies on others - they will be automatically detected by nmrwiki and links to them will be added.
There will be no need uploading files one-by one, creating special file extensions so that wiki accepts them, etc.

Separating files written in different labs into different directories will eliminate potential problem of filename conflicts. In case there are interdependencies between files written by you and others - those will either have to be marked explicitly or just ingnored for the time being.

I'm leaning to one sequence (file) per page. It's just simpler - one less thing to think about when creating a record (i.e. no need to search for a page where to add a new entry) also it is more difficult to design a template that works well for multiple entries per page. links to analogous sequences are available through "experiment family" pages. Take a look at this.

The opposite approach also makes sense in some cases, but unfortunately it is rare to find two implementations that use all the same pulses (i.e. being literal translations from one language to another - say bruker to varian). I hope we can find some other way to link literal translation versions (something similar to mechanism used in "experiment family" thing as implemented in Template:NMR-experiment (go to that page and click "edit" to see source - it's using "dynamic page list" parser function)
