Nowadays NMR spectra are recored in the time domain, so we don't get directly a spectra, to have a spectra we need to do a Fourier transformation, the processing is how to perform this Fourier transformation and also what other transformation we could apply to the spectra, before doing this the spectra is recorded, and their are frequently signal accumulation steps in order to enhanced the signal/noise ratio. Used transformation are :

- zero filling : it avoid to make the Fourier transformation on noise, and avoid some noise in the spectra, usually it's needed when the delay of spectra is too long

- exponentiation multiplication
