Abbrevation for "fluid attenuated inverse recovery".

FLAIR is a pulse sequence used for neuro imaging and based on T2 measurements. The CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) signal is nulled out.

Other implementations like fast FLAIR (fFLAIR) and TurboFLAIR offer shorter examination times than the original FLAIR sequence.
