There is currently an open postdoctoral position, available immediately, in the Walls Lab in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL.

The potential candidate will assist the PI in developing and experimentally demonstrating new pulse sequences on the departmental spectrometers (300, 400, and 500 MHz spectrometers).

Candidate requirements

The potential candidate should have a Ph.D. preferably in Chemistry or Physics, be knowledgeable in NMR (practice and theory), should have experience in preparing and running samples for solution-state NMR, and experience in pulse-programming.

Experience with NMR simulations, theory, and MATLAB is also desirable. There also exists the possibility of collaborations with researchers at the UM Medical School.
