The Ames Laboratory is seeking a postdoctoral associate to conduct investigations of heterogeneous catalysts and metal hydrides by using solid state NMR spectroscopy in the research group of Dr. Marek Pruski. The successful candidate will collaborate with other PIs in the Division of Chemical and Biological Sciences and the Division of Materials Sciences and Engineering. Requirements include a Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, materials science or a related discipline. Applicants with background and experience in theoretical and experimental aspects of modern solid state NMR, including method development, are strongly encouraged to apply. Send cover letter, resume, plus the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of three references to the address given below. The position is available immediately.
