The Department of Chemistry at the College of Staten Island invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral position in membrane protein biophysics and NMR spectroscopy to begin immediately.
About the project
The work will focus on structural and biophysical analysis of voltage sensing domains and their interactions with animal peptide toxins. This position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Sebastien Poget: http://www.chem.csi.cuny.edu/poget.htm.
Core Competencies/Qualifications
Highly motivated individuals with demonstrated expertise in protein NMR spectroscopy and/or membrane protein biochemistry/biophysics are encouraged to apply.
