In TPPI or time-proportional phase incrementation method phase of preparation pulse is incremented by 90^o for every increment of evolution delay T₁.

Transmitter set at the center of spectral window.

Spectral width SW is set as , where ΔT₁ - size of increment in the indirect timensions in seconds (and SW in Hz).
