A position of Postdoctoral Research Scientist in Solid State NMR is open at UNSW ANALYTICAL CENTRE, Australia. Applications are invited for an experienced post-doctoral research scientist with skills and knowledge in the applications of solid state NMR spectroscopy.

The successful candidate will take a leading role in the University-wide NMR Facility which has recently received ARC funding for a major initiative in solid-state NMR spectroscopy. The appointee will implement advanced solid state NMR spectroscopic techniques to enable research and collaborations in the areas of molecular & life sciences, medicine, materials and engineering within UNSW and with partner organisations, as well as train research staff and students in these areas of specialization.

Title: Research Scientist (Solid State NMR Spectroscopy, REF. 6872NET), Division of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research)

  • Salary Level A: A$54K - A$73K per year (plus up to 17% employer superannuation plus leave loading).
  • A relocation package is available for the successful inter-state or overseas candidate.
  • This is a fixed term position for a period of three years.
