Using discussion pages & comment applets

Rules #1 and #2

1. no need to ask any permissions to post questions, really crude drafts and stuff like that on discussion pages.
2. however, spam and offensive languate will be removed immediately

General rules

Please, try to minimize off-topic discussions on talk pages and comment threads. That will help us keep content better organized.

If you think your comment has not been noticed (most likely - by accident) please use user talk pages and "Email this user" link in the toolbox (that shows up once you are in the user's page).

Where to post what discussions

Let's use discussion pages for talking about something relevant to that page.

Comment applet

Current comment applet that we are now using may not be very robust or reliable. Anything posted on them is not stored in the wiki database and not backed up. (This may change in the future)

Maybe it's not a bad thing - it will encourage posting content out of comment discussions into the wiki.

Please don't rely on comments as a reliable storage of information.

Comments may be deleted, but generally unanswered comments should not be removed. (?)
